What Makes a Great Magazine
Celebrities - If a magazine uses a popular celebrity on their front cover then people will want to buy the magazine because they will want to know why the celebrity is on the cover and find out more information about them.
New information - This could be gossip about a celebrity, spoilers on a movie/TV show, or any sort of exclusive which readers will only get from a particular magazine/issue.
An eye catching image - If it is a women's magazine, then it can be an attractive woman in a bikini, as women will want to look like her and her "secrets" will most likely be inside the magazine. For a men's magazine it could be a man who has a lot of muscle and men will also want to know how they became to look like that. Another example is a car magazine, an image of a brand new car on the cover would make someone want to buy the magazine so they can find out more information about it.

Interesting Articles - Writing in a large typography on the front cover will catch the eye and it needs to be bold, straight to the point and make the reader want to know more.
Unique Theme - If the theme of the cover matches the story they are promoting then the audience will remember it and find it clever.
The Magazine Unit
- We must do 4 pages for our magazine, a front cover, a back page and 2 inside pages.
- If you're working in a pair then you have to do 8 pages.
- You are not allowed to include any inappropriate images or writing.
- You have to take some of the pictures by yourself.
- You are not allowed to create a music magazine.
- One of the pages has to be a contents page.

Analysis of Website
I concentrated on using dark colours and lighting to show that the film is a thriller; the background is of a well populated city at night because this is where a lot of the film will take place. The font used for "The Key" is formal, there aren't any curves in the letter, it is all very straight to show the seriousness of the film. At the bottom right there is a picture of an unidentifiable man pointing a gun, this means that there is a bit of action and mystery in the film.
There are buttons at the top of the website because they are always used
